I am so grateful for the help and support provided by TLC HomeCare during my Mom’’s trip to the ER on Wednesday night. After a very difficult 6 months, I was excited to be on my way to the Boston airport for a ski trip to France. I then received a call fromThe Residence that they were sending Mom to the ER in an ambulance after a fall.
My excitement quickly vanished and I considered all my options. Given the great support last time in the ER, I contacted TLC HomeCare. TLC’s scheduled Sharon, who Mom is now very attached to, was at the UVMMC ER in no time. She stayed with Mom until her return to The Residence at midnight. Given Mom’s dementia, having someone there I believe was critical. I was so relieved and thankful for this option. I was able to get on the plane and Mom seemed fine when I spoke with her via video phone yesterday:).
I am grateful to all that made this happen at a time Me and Mom really needed it. You folks are really living up to the TLC name. Many thanks!
